When doing the 15 year mortgage vs the 30 year mortgage spreadsheets I found that with the 15 year mortgage we are paying twice the amount monthly then we would pay with the 30 year mortgage, which I found to be interesting. With the 30 year mortgage we are still going to pay more overall then with the 15 year mortgage. The 15 year took 180 months to pay off while the 30 year took 360 months.

My article “Why Your Online Privacy Matters” talks about how our technology today has brought enormous conveniences to us. But at what cost does using technology bring us when it comes to our privacy on the digital world? They explain what hackers are searching for such as, social security numbers, bank accounts, and so on. They also give us tips on how to keep our online privacy safe. Steps to keeping them safe like, backing up data, securing passwords, being conscious about which WiFi sources you might be using. Doing some of these simple steps can keep your online information safer.

Some of my opinions on this situation may be that I think people should lessen the amount of their information they put online to begin with. Yes, I understand we have become very reliable on technology, where we are banking online, sharing our life information online such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and so on. But if it can just somehow be lessened I think this would reduce the amount of people getting their accounts of any kind, from being hacked or stolen from. Making sure each one the devices you own has some kind of malware detector, will lessen the chances also.

Changing a Google Document into a PDF file can be very useful. PDFs capture everything of a document that would be printed and can be forwarded to people to share the document with. When downloading a document as a PDF the pages can no longer be edited.

Step 1:

Go to the “file” option in the top left hand corner of the screen.

Step 2:

Hover over the “Download as” option and choose the PDF Document file.

Step 3:

Once you do step 2 a pop up will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen showing that the PDF was downloaded. Once it finishes, Click the arrow and hit open.

Step 4:

Once you have completed step 3 the file should open like this. This is the final PDF document and can be shared out to others to be printed without being edited.

1. Wings of Fire– By: Tiu T. Sutherland, Release date: July 1st, 2012. I enjoy this series because I love dragons. Another aspect I love is the cover art that is on the front of the books. They are very colorful and catching to the eye. The story itself follows the journey of several dragons as they travel through different lands, they face hardships along their way that they must overcome.
2. Mouse and the Motorcycle– By: Beverly Cleary, Release date: 1965. This story is a classic, and that’s what I love about it. I read it when I was a child, I loved the imagination that this story brought.
3. Warriors– By: Erin Hunter, Release date: 2011. There are many books to this series. It’s a story that follows warrior cats that live in different clans and fight against each other to claim lands. With these books I also find a lot of appeal just from the cover art of the books.
